では、どうすれば消費者とドーナツの関与を高められるのか――。悩みながら街をうろうろと歩くうち、原氏の目に飛び込んできたのは「丸いモノ」だった。「自動車のタイヤや、ペットボトルのキャップなど、世の中には丸いモノがたくさんある」ということに気付く。 「丸いモノを見た時にドーナツを想起してもらう。そんな意識変化を起こすことはできないだろうか」。こうした考えを具体的な形にしたのが、iPhoneアプリのドーナツ・ディスカバラーである。
